For your listening pleasure, you can now download the entire soundtrack from Star Trek: Odyssey's premiere episode, Iliad.  It's in MP3 format, in a zipped archive.  From this link, you'll go to a page where you can download the soundtrack with one link and the artwork with a second.  If you've already downloaded the artwork from the Hidden Frontier / Odyssey forums, you don't need to download it a second time; this is exactly the same file.

I've taken the Odyssey Theme link down, since the Odyssey Theme is included in the soundtrack.

Finally, a note about the copyright.  You can copy and distribute these files for free, but you can't charge for them.  You have to cite where they came from if you post them anywhere -- that citation has to read:  "Composed by Dexter Craig for use in Star Trek Odyssey.  www.dexfx.com, www.stodyssey.com."

You can use any of the tracks that don't have a recognizable iteration of the Odyssey theme in any non-commercial project you like so long as you make the same citation.  And please, drop me a line and let me know where the stuff is being used!  I'd love to know!

I started composing music for my Super-8 movies in high school, too many years ago to mention.  Since then, I’ve composed scores for three feature films, a number of shorts and several web series.  I’ll be releasing the score for Pandemonium -- the 91 minute gay-SciFi-action-adventure-comedy extravaganza -- as a Creative Commons work that anyone can use in a non-commercial production shortly.  Check back for that.

Star Trek: Origins Theme complete

I'm working on the score of another fan-fiction series called Star Trek: Origins.  I've written the theme for the series -- you can listen to that here -- and will be writing the score for their first episode, Aftermath.  Since Origins is set prior to the Original Series, the music is more in the style of the old Alexander Courage scores.  Lots of fun to work on!
